To report spam you are receiving, you will need to send the source of the message to spam@brightok.net. This email address is not monitored by a live person, but it is processed by automated programs which make blacklisting decisions.

Here is a list of a few common email programs and how to retrieve the message source to email to us. If you have any problems or use an email program not listed here, please email abuse@brightok.net for help or contact the Helpdesk at 1-800-687-0173.

Outlook Express
View the email message in the preview pane, or open it in a new window.
With the keyboard, press the following keys:
CTRL-F3 (Message Source window)
CTRL-A (selects all text)
CTRL-C (copies text)
ALT-F4 (closes Message Source window)
Create a new email and address it to spam@brightok.net. Click in the body of the email and press CTRL-V to paste the source into the email and click the Send button.

Outlook
Outlook does have the ability to properly view headers and message source. In order to send us reports with Outlook, you can use the Free/Trial version of SpamSource. The first 30 days enable the pay version features. After 30 days, it will revert to the free version, which is enough to send reports to us.

MailMan (web interface)
Open the email in the preview page and click the Raw button.
Right click on the text in the email message and click Select All. This should highlight all the text and press CTRL-C to copy it. Click on compose to create a new email and address it to spam@brightok.net. Click in the body of the email, and press CTRL-V to paste the source into the email. Click the Send button.
