CARTER COUNTY EQUALIZATION BOARD

SPECIAL MEETING

The Carter County Equalization Board held a special meeting on June 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Carter County Commissioners Board Room. The agenda for the meeting was time stamped June 21, 2010 at 10:31 AM in the County Clerk’s Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office in the Court House Annex.

The meeting was called to order by Sappington at 2:00 PM. Roll Call: Sappington, present – Alexander, present – Loder, present. The minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon. Kim Cain and Eric Dellinger were also present.

Alexander made a motion to approve the agenda, second by Loder. Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes - Loder, yes.

Noble Energy was not present at the meeting, they sent a notice to the County Assessor dated June 22, 2010 stating that they were dropping the protest but the Equalization Board did not receive anything for Noble Energy. Alexander made a motion to take no action on the protest due to the fact that no one appeared, second by Loder. Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes – Loder, yes.

Alexander made a motion to adjourn, second by Loder. Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes - Louder, yes.
