CARTER COUNTY EXCISE BOARD

 

The Carter County Excise Board held a regular meeting on July 1, 2009 at 1:30 PM in the Carter County Commissioners Board Room.  The meeting was called to order by Sappington.  Roll Call: Sappington, present - Alexander, present. The minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon.

 

Alexander made a motion to approve the agenda, second by Sappington.  Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes.

 

No public comments were made

 

Alexander made a motion to approve the minutes of the special meeting held on June 12, 2009 second by Sappington.  Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes.

 

Sappington made a motion to approve the attached temporary budget for Carter County for 2009-2010, second by Alexander.  Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes.

 

Sappington made a motion to approve the following lapsed balances: Court Clerk Revolving Fund, $297,206.52, Court Fund Payroll, $23,766.36, County Road and Improvements, $552,703.63, Preservation Fees, $171,394.66, Assessor Revolving Fee, $14,733.90, Delinquency Prevention, $1,380.00, Drug Court Revolving Fund, $4,567.82, E911, $181,796.94, FEMA, $92,570.91, Fire Department Sales Tax, $500,000.00, GO Bond, $19,847.20, Health Special Events, $10,021.34, Highway, $4,362,602.08, Mechanic Liens, $165,972.51, Mortgage Certification Fee, $62,501.96, Sales Tax Revolving, $2,894,679.23, Sheriff Board of Prisoners, $378,601.56, Sheriff Drug Enforcement, $450.00, Sheriff Commissary, $38,131.74, Sheriff Estray Animal, $2,714.91, Sheriff Service Fees, $235,978.15, second by Alexander.  Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes.

 

Alexander made a motion to approve the temporary appropriations for Ardmore Schools, Lone Grove Schools and Tri-County Interlocal

Co-Op, second by Sappington.  Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes.

 

One transfer was submitted to the Board.  1) County General M & O into Personal Services for $4000.00.

 

No new business was submitted.

 

Alexander made a motion to adjourn, second by Sappington.  Vote: Sappington, yes – Alexander, yes.
