The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped November 13, 2009 at 8:56 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Bill McLaughlin at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Theresa Jackson, Carter County Clerk Deputy. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, Angela Anthony, Gurjit Singh and Shelly Stahlbusch.
Ott made a motion to approve the agenda with the amendment to item #6 adding ACCO – SIF second by Robinson Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on November 9, 2009 second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve the application for a private cemetery in Section 11 Township 5 South Range 3 West for the J.D. Lewis Family Cemetary, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the letters to ACCO-SIG and ACCO-SIF regarding insurance for Carter County, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the transfer from Fire Tax M&O into Capital Outlay for $150,000.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve the Carter County E911 Committee Meeting date for 2010 to be January 14, March 11, May 13, July 8, September 9 and November 18, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve the Annual Accomplishment Plan for District 1, 2 and 3, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the certificate of compliance for a liquor license from Angela Anthony and Gurjit Singh, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve advertising for six month bids, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the appointment of Lone Grove Police Chief, Robert Oldham to the Carter County E911 Committee replacing J.L. Self, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to take no action on county officers’ reports second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No new business was discussed.
