The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped July 31, 2009 at 8:55 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Bill McLaughlin at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Theresa Jackson, Carter County Clerk Deputy. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, Ken Schmitz, Karen Volino, John Graham, Bruce Delp and Christopher Potter.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the agenda second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meetings held on July 27, 2009 second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve disposing of equipment sold at the county auction as follows, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes. County Sheriff: 2002 Chevy Pickup, sn 2GCEK19T621398485 sold to Milo Coleman – 8 computer systems sold to Fred Wright – 3 computer systems sold to Robert Goff - 6 computer systems sold to Destry French – 3 two way radios junked – 17 computers junked.
Ott made a motion to table the bids for the shelving units received from 1) Datum Filing Systems for $86,498.67 for the powered systems and $85,181.70 for the manual system, 2) Southwest Solutions for option (1) manual system for $82,988.00 option (2) powered system for $94,775.00 (3) powered system for $88, 550.00 3) Hudson Filing System for a mechanical system of $87,765.00 4) Cisco Eagle for a bid for mechanical for $99,585.00 mechanical with safety sweep for $110,650.00 and electric for $130,600.00 second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to table the bids for a new dump truck from Bruckner Truck for $102,360.00, from Roberts Truck Center for $102,701.00 and from Oklahoma City Freightliner for $94.600.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve a transfer from District 1 M&O into Capital Outlay for $75,000.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the title sheet for BRF-110C (196) CO in District 2, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to take no action on county officer reports second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No new business was discussed.
