The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped July 17, 2009 at 8:51 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.

 

The meeting was called to order by Bill McLaughlin at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon, Carter County Clerk. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, Shelly Stahlbusch and Bruce Delp.

 

Robinson made a motion to approve the agenda second by McLaughlin.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

No public comments were made.  

 

McLaughlin made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meetings held on July 13, 2009 second by Robinson.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Robinson made a motion to approve the six month bids for a crane, crane operator and drop hammer from Browns Construction for $200.00 per hour, second by Ott.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Ott made a motion to approve Royal Printing for the 12 month ballot bids, second by McLaughlin.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Robinson made a motion to reject all bids and rebid the shelving units, second by Ott.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Ott made a motion to take no action on the annual agreement between Carter County and the City of Ardmore concerning the handling of 911 calls, second by Robinson.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Robinson made a motion to approve a division order with LE Jones Operating for Section 27 Township 3 South Range 2 East, second by Ott.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

McLaughlin made a motion to approve 3 bridge inspections for $652.50, second by Ott.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Robinson made a motion to approve a contract with Eastern Oklahoma Youth Services, Inc for the Pittsburg County Juvenile Detention Center and Woodward County Juvenile Detention Center for $23.25 per day, second by Ott.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Robinson made a motion to approve disposing of equipment sold at the county auction as follows, second by Ott.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes. Robinson made a motion to approve the annual agreement with Mid America Telephone Company for E911 features and associated equipment, second by Ott.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Ott made a motion to advertise for bids for a new 10 wheel dump truck, second by McLaughlin.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Ott made a motion to table an oil and gas lease request on the Gene Autry Cemetery from Chesapeake Exploration LLC, second by Robinson.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Robinson made a motion to take no action on county officer reports second by Ott.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

Ott made a motion to approve requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Robinson.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

McLaughlin made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

 

No new business was discussed. 

 

Ott made a motion to adjourn second by Robinson.  Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
