The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped June 26, 2009 at 8:34 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Bill McLaughlin at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon, Carter County Clerk. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, Johnny Roe, Nick Woodward, Michael Armstrong and Doug Williams.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the agenda second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meetings held on June 22, 2009 second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve advertising for bids for a skid mounted road patching machine, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve a county deed to Benito Banda for land located at Ardmore Lots and Blocks, Block 496, part of lot 4, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve a county deed to Gauge Homes LLC for land located at Walcott Addition, Block 27 Lot 22, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve a co-operative agreement with Chickasaw Nation for Hedges Road in District #3, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to take no action on county officer reports, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to take no action on the requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No new business was discussed.
Robinson made a motion to reject the pest control bid and rebid the crane operator bid with items on the six month bids being approved, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to adjourn second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
