The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped June 5, 2009 at 8:57 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Bill McLaughlin at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon, Carter County Clerk. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson.

McLaughlin made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meetings held on June 1, 2009 second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

Robinson made a motion to advertise for bid county property located at Dundee Addition to Ardmore, Block 17 Lots 19,20 and 22, Block 17 Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to take no action on a lease in Section 13 T3S R2E to RD Williams and Company, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve to advertise for 12 month bids for ballots, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve a transfer from Election Board Travel to Personal Services for $400.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the low bid received from Chief Fire and Safety for a total of $17,279.08 for Bunker and Wildland Gear, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes. 2 other bids were received 1 Casco for a total of $17,295.75 and 1 from Wayest Safety for a total of $22,600.00.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve a transfer from Sheriff Detention Capital Outlay to Sales Tax Capital Outlay for $55,659.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve payment option one to pay the total amount of $218,814.00 for worker’s comp before July 31, 2009 from ACCO, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve the property and liability quote from ACCO-SIG for payment option one to pay the total amount $161,010 by July 31, 2009, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
