The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped May 15, 2009 at 8:52 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Bill McLaughlin at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Theresa Jackson, Carter County Clerk Deputy. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, Michael T Reynolds and Dana Trueblood.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the agenda with new business added of a resolution to dispose of equipment for District #2 second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on May 11, 2009 second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve of the minutes of the special meeting held on May 11, 2009 for the Carter County Public Facilities Authority, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the bid received from York Electronics Systems for Audio Visual Equipment and Installation in the amount of $63,227.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to table the plat for Hometown Addition, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve the resolution to dispose of a Bobcat Electric Welder serial number LE142047, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the following county deeds for property sold to Paul Ellenberg for lots in Ardmore Lots and Blocks, Block 443 part of lots 6 and 7, Block 201 part of lot 5, Block 438 part of lots 1 and 2, Block 406 part of lots 7 and 8, Block 389 part of lots 12 and 13, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to table the stimulus questionnaire, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to take no action on county officer reports, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
New business was discussed. Robinson made a motion to approve resolution 2008-2009-20 to sell to Johnston County a John Deere Tractor serial number H06300P134406 and a Tiger with twin mower (side and rear mounts) serial number BK#TTRR760/SD#T4786, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to adjourn second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
