The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped March 20, 2009 at 8:20 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Bill McLaughlin at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon, Carter County Clerk. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, Marianne B Elfert and Steve Beihn.
Robinson made a motion to approve the agenda second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on March 23, 2009 second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to lift the burn ban for seven days for Carter County, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to take no action on the request to burn 4 miles east of Gene Autry on Highway 53, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to take no action on the request for a burn plan from Don Anderson, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to take no action on a request for county assistance from the City of Lone Grove, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve a request to cross a county roadway in Section 17 Township 3 South Range 2 East to bore only from Oklahoma Midstream Gas Services, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve resolution to dispose of the following equipment which was sold to Richie Brothers Auction, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes. An Atoka 50 ton 33 ft Tri/A Lowboy serial #1A9LB3538WA245597 for $23,000.00, a 2001 Ford Super Duty Crew Cab serial #1FTNW21L91EC84516 for $5,000.00, a 1994 Galion PD784 Vibratory Padfoot serial #V53012U452115 for $20,000.00, a John Deere 770BH Motor Grader serial #DW770BW524957 for $25,000.00, a Champion 720A Series III Motor Grader serial#720A187145422998 for $26,000.00.
Robinson made a motion to transfer from District 2 M&O into Capital Outlay for $150,000.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve advertising for bids county property located at Ardmore Lots and Blocks, Block 318 part of lot 8 and Block 212 part of Lot 2, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve advertising for bids county property located at Ardmore Lots and Blocks, Block 496 part of Lot 5, Block 342 part of Lots 2 and 3 and Block 495 part of Lot 3, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve resolution 2008-2009-19 to sell a 1978 Etnyre Chip Spreader serial K4259 to Johnston County for $1,500.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
