The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped March 20, 2009 at 8:20 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Bill McLaughlin at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon, Carter County Clerk. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, David Gilley, Claire Murphy and Ed Reed.
Ott made a motion to approve the agenda second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
Ott made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on March 16, 2009 second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve resolution 2008-2009-19 renewing the burn ban for seven days for Carter County, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to table the request to burn 4 miles east of Gene Autry on Highway 53, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve advertising for bids for ammunition for the sheriff’s office, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to take no action on a request for a letter regarding match requirements for the SOWC 12858 CDBG 07 until further information is provided, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve 2 road crossings from Citation Oil and Gas Corp in the NW corner of Section 19 Township 1 South Range 3 West to bore only, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve payroll for all county employees, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the resolution to dispose of a 1991 International Bucket Truck serial # 1HTSENEN3MH315803 and a 1991 Holan 830 Lift and Bucker serial # 91830019G and a 2984 D6D used Caterpillar serial # 4X2783, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to take no action on county officer reports second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No new business was discussed.
