The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped March 6, 2009 at 8:41 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Kevin Robinson at 9:00 AM. Members present were Bill McLaughlin, Kevin Robinson and Dale Ott. Minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon, Carter County Clerk. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, Steve Smith and Pud Wood.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the agenda second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
Ott made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on March 2, 2009 second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve resolution 2008-2009-17 renewing the burn ban for seven days for Carter County, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve a burn ban exemption for the Lake Murray Field Trial Grounds second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve a road boring for Oklahoma Midstream Gas Services, LLC at the northwest corner of Section 16 Township 3 South Range 2 East to bore only, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve a transfer from Fire Sales Tax M&O into Capital Outlay in the amount of $106,533.57, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the bid from Gila Enterprises in the amount of $39,675.00 for a diesel engine generator, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the bid from Kirby Smith Machinery for a Trail King Trailer for $14,215.00, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes. The other bid was from Atoka Trailer & Mfg in the amount of $14,865.00.
Robinson made a motion to approve advertising for county property located at Park City Addition Block 4 Lot 10 and 11, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve 3 county deeds to Paul Ellenberg for county land in Ardmore Lots and Blocks, Block 69 Lot 2, Block 394 part of the W/2 of Lot 5 and Block 15 Lot 5 and 2 deed to B & W Construction of Southern Oklahoma for Ardmore Lots and Blocks, Block 317 Lot 8 and Block 261 W/2 of Lot 2, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the following monthly appropriations, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.

County Roads & Improvement - $ 371.37

McLaughlin made a motion to approve county officer reports from the E911, Court Clerk, Election Board, District Attorney, County Clerk, County Treasurer and the Sheriff second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve the requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by McLaughlin. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No new business was discussed.
Ott made a motion to adjourn second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
