The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped February 5, 2010 at 8:23 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Kevin Robinson at 9:00 AM. Members present were Kevin Robinson, Dale Ott and Bill McLaughlin. Minutes were taken by Cynthia Harmon, Carter County Clerk. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson and Lisa Stewart.
Robinson made a motion to approve the agenda second by Ott. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
Robinson made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on February 1, 2010 second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve item 1, 5 and 6 from the request list of equipment from the Fire Tax Advisory Committee which is Brush Trucks for Criner Hills, Dillard 2 trucks, Sneed, Springer, Ratliff city, Ardmore Airpark, Healdton and Woodford, Bunker Gear for Sneed - 2 sets, Healdton - 15 sets, Woodford – 3 sets, and Fox 4 sets and Wildland Gear for Criner Hills – 3 sets, Sneed – 17 sets, Fox – 2 sets, Springer – 3 sets, and Woodford – 3 sets second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the receiving officers as Patricia Goodin and Pamala Chesser and requisition officers as JL Self and Alice Campbell for the Drug Court, second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve publishing 2009 wages for Carter County Employees, second by McLaughlin. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
McLaughlin made a motion to approve deeming as surplus and disposing of a 1998 Ford New Holland tractor with an Alamo 24’ Machete Mower, sn 078742B, second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve a transfer from District 2 M&O (0820-2005) into Capital Outlay (0820-3005) in the amount of $75,000.00, second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to table an oil and gas lease from RD Williams and Company in Section 1 T3S R2E, second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the county officers’ reports from the Sheriff Department, District Attorney, Court Clerk, Election Board, County Clerk and the County Treasurer second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Robinson. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
No new business was discussed.
Ott made a motion to adjourn second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
