The agenda for the meeting was timed stamped January 15, 2010 at 8:34 AM in the County Clerk's Office and can be seen Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda was posted on the south door of the Carter County Commissioners Office on the Court House Annex.
The meeting was called to order by Kevin Robinson at 9:00 AM. Members present were Kevin Robinson, Dale Ott and Bill McLaughlin. Minutes were taken by Theresa Jackson, Carter County Clerk Deputy. Others present at the meeting were Jerry Benson, Mike Bean, Debbie Preston, Katrina Springer, Claire Murphy, Milton Murphy and Lisa Stewart.
Ott made a motion to approve the agenda second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
No public comments were made.
Robinson made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on January 12, 2010 second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Ott made a motion to take no action on the dedication of streets in the Murphy Addition in the Town of Dickson, second by Robinson. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve the receiving officers for District #2 to be Melanie Griffin and Lisa Stewart, second by McLaughlin. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve the receiving officers for the County Clerks’ Office to be Kelly Brawley and Darrelyn Phillips, second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve a transfer from OSU Personal Services into M&O for $10,000.00, second by McLaughlin. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve a pipeline crossing in Section 25 T2S R3W for Teppco Crude to bore only, second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Ott made a motion to take no action on the county officers’ reports second by Robinson. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Robinson made a motion to approve requisitions for county highway, general government and all cash accounts, second by Ott. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
Ott made a motion to approve the purchase orders for county highway, general government and all cash accounts second by McLaughlin. Vote: Robinson, Ott and McLaughlin vote yes.
No new business was discussed.
Ott made a motion to adjourn second by Robinson. Vote: McLaughlin, Robinson and Ott vote yes.
