The First Monday in October - Tax
Lien Sale for previous year that is delinquent.
October 1 - County Assessor
certifies the tax amounts to be collected
November 1 - Current tax
statements become due and payable
December 31 - Last day to pay full
amount or one half of taxes before coming delinquent
December 31 - Due date of taxes paid
by mortgage companies. Mortage companies must pay the full amount.
March 31 - Last day to pay second
half payment of taxes before coming delinquent
Mid April - Delinquent personal
tax notices are mailed
End April - Delinquent personal taxes
are published in newspaper
Mid May / First of June - Publication
for the resale to be held the 2nd Monday of June
Second Monday of June - Tax resale
all accounts have 4 years of delinquent taxes
Mid July - Delinquent real estate
certified notices are mailed
Mid July - The Notices of Intents to
issue tax warrants statements on delinquent personal taxes are mailed
First & Mid September -
Publications for the Lien Sale for current delinquent real estate taxes
to be held the first Monday in October
